i just woke up after 6 hours of sleep, before my alarm went off, feeling pretty well-rested and actually remembering a dream. either it was a crazy placebo effect, or my new bed really is that much better than the old one. i wouldn’t be surprised – a nice full-depth mattress and box-spring on a frame compared to a fairly broken down half-depth ikea mattress on the floor.

i like gmail labs. two of the newer features are pretty funny: Forgotten Attachment Detector, which gives you a big warning confirming the send if you type the words “attach” “attachment” “attached” etc. but don’t actually attach anything. everybody does that a few times a year and it’s always embarrassing. the newest one, Mail Goggles, won’t let you send email late on weekend nights unless you can answer a couple arithmetic problems. hilarious.
