bone in sub

last night i cut my hair again, but this time i took a before & after:

subtle. the main difference is that it’s impossible to mess it up now, just wake up and it’s ready.

walking up yonge st. with rebecca. a girl walking in the opposite direction checks me out, rebecca laughs about it. i mention how i enjoy it when that happens, she punches my arm and jokes how guys never check her out.

30 seconds later, a well dressed young man walking the other way checks one of us out. me. amazing.

“google suggest” is when you’re typing in a form and it “suggests” your search term based on what’s popular (ie. is searched for a lot).  it was pointed out to me that when you type my name in any suggesting google search form, out of all the tyler kerrs, i get suggested.  i assume my stalker(s?) read my blog so give me a shout, hey y’all.

school is exhausting. i made it through some horrible affliction (fever, severe dizziness, restricted airway) and three nights of the opera before hitting a wall on sunday morning. since then i’ve been exhausted and unhappy. hopefully i go back to my normal unstoppable self on thursday night after my recital.

i practiced for something like 8 hours today – or actually, i was in practice rooms intending to practice for 8 hours. i’m sure two of those hours were spent playing the young and the restless or blood on the motorway and making stuff up. i didn’t feel totally wrecked at the end of it like i expected – i haven’t practiced for that long since high school.

i’m curious whether this week is going to get better or worse – some family’s going to be in town to help me out with stuff, my girlfriend has been amazing bringing me food while i practice and just being awesome, and i keep getting more and more prepared for the recital. it could go both ways. i’ll either chill out pretty soon or just get meaner and meaner up until the end of the show on thursday.

now i’m going to finish that film essay from my last post.

based solely on the syllabus and the assignment pdf posted on blackboard, i downloaded a few movies yesterday, stayed up until 6 watching them, and worked on notes & the essay until now.  i see that i have an email from the professor, so i read it:  the assignment is due NEXT tuesday.  i wonder when that was announced.
